Our mission
To provide reliable, ethical, high-level legal representation — protecting clients' interests with diligence, responsiveness, and professional discipline across every matter the firm handles.
About the firm
Defining legal excellence in Trinidad & Tobago since 1992, with a practice built around advocacy, ethics, accessibility, and clear representation for both local and international clients.
Firm overview

Martin George & Company has a long-standing commitment to public legal education through commentary, seminars, and regular legal updates.
Since 1992
Consistent founding date used to anchor the firm narrative
Martin George & Company has served clients across Trinidad and Tobago since 1992 — across family, property, litigation, immigration, estates, and public-law matters.
The firm operates with a deliberate structure that allows each matter to receive close attorney attention, rather than being processed through a high-volume model.
The firm draws on an established network of title search clerks, valuators, surveyors, investigators, process servers, and other specialists — so clients do not need to coordinate separately with third parties.
To provide reliable, ethical, high-level legal representation — protecting clients' interests with diligence, responsiveness, and professional discipline across every matter the firm handles.
To remain a trusted legal authority in Trinidad and Tobago by combining courtroom strength, practical client service, and sustained public legal engagement for both local and international clients.
Why this firm
The firm is built around ethical standards, direct counsel, and serious representation. Clients receive honest advice — including when the answer is not what they hoped to hear.
Detailed preparation, strong advocacy, and professional discipline are applied across contested litigation, conveyancing, probate, advisory, and all other matters the firm handles.
Accessibility, personal attention, and clear communication are non-negotiable. Legal services should feel usable for clients facing stressful, urgent, or unfamiliar situations.
Leadership highlight
Martin George is a senior Trinidad and Tobago attorney with more than 35 years in active legal practice, visible public-service appointments, and a sustained presence in national legal and civic discourse.
Beyond private practice, Martin George has served in constitutional and law-reform roles, contributed to civic and educational institutions, and maintained a media-facing commitment to public legal engagement. That combination reflects a career built not only on courtroom and advisory practice, but on the broader responsibility that senior counsel hold in a small jurisdiction.
